RELAXATION & MEDITATION
Each session has 3 components, in the order listed below:

 - BREATHING – first part of the session
Based on the work of Dr Donald Epstein DC who developed cutting-edge Chiropractic in the 90’s and wrote a ‘Self Healing’ book called “The 12 Stages of Healing” which teach healing through breath, touch and holistically.

 - DEEP RELAXATION – second part of session
The sessions are similar to those developed by Dr Ainslie Meares, in the 50’s, and who’s famous for his book “Relief Without Drugs” plus many others. Participants sit in chairs, and experience ‘pure’ stillness, and therapeutic touch – a gentle healing experience.

 - MEDITATION – last part of the session
People can sit or lie down for this, and a variety of CD meditations are played, including Dr Ian Gawler, Petrea King, Aansha Jones, Lucy Cavendish, Dr Sarah Edleman, & others. An outline of this variety is available on attendance - there are 12 different sessions.

THE 12 STAGES OF HEALING
This course is over 4 weeks OR one whole weekend

A ‘natural’ approach to ‘healing’ the mind and body; and gives us interesting insights into our personal complexities that contribute to our having discomforts, pains, stress and illnesses, all discussed and based on the book by Dr Donald Epstein DC. 
There are 2 components – Theory of the “12 Stages” & exercises called ‘Somato Respiratory Integration’. The benefits are that individuals can take away their own ‘tools’ for healing from this course, through understanding the conceptual model of the 12 Stages themselves, plus using the integrating exercises to self-heal which assists to release aspects of unwellness no longer needed – or tolerated.

The course is experiential and very interactive. It could bring out emotions that have been locked away, and is therefore conducted in a private, supportive environment, where participants are encouraged to use their own intuition as to how far they delve into their innermost selves.

Developed by Rothy over many years, incorporating many of her personal experience and skills, aiming to enable people to reduce stress through ‘gentle, natural, and creative’ processes. All units inter-connect, and the more completed, the more ‘techniques’ one has to manage their stress, and enjoy more quality relaxation and lifestyle. 

The tone of the workshops is friendly, and all the sessions have a ‘key’ topic and benefits. All are ‘hands on’ or participatory, and work-books with a storage folder are included, so methods can be easily accessed any time. Evaluations from previous participants of this course have been tremendously pleasing, and the words “nurturing, enlightening, soothing, fun and practical for enhancing daily living” are constant among the comments.

LOOKING AT LABYRINTHS
Finding all about these ancient, lovely, curious, amazing structures

• Hearing about the ancient History of Labyrinths
• Drawing a couple of varying designs
• Making a beaded ‘finger’ Labyrinth
• Building a full-size structure on the floor, or ground
• Walking, meditating, contemplating, enjoying the Labyrinth
